The team at Better Learning Center LLC is composed of talented, collegiate, and certified educators who work together to enhance students' knowledge and proficiency in whichever subject they choose to master. We've seen firsthand how the COVID-19 pandemic has only widened the learning gap among today's youth, and we believe that this should not limit any student's aspirations to achieve their own version of success in the future. To this end, we work to build meaningful relationships with our students to confidently address individual learning styles and needs and create uniquely personalized learning experiences for all.

BRANDON NOWAKOWSKI

Brandon grew up in western Massachusetts and pursued double degrees in mathematics and music at UMass Amherst. He has tutored math, science, and music for about a decade and places a heavy emphasis on making sure his students not only get accepted into the colleges or careers of their dreams but that they are prepared for success once they get there. Brandon currently teaches mathematics at Pope Francis Preparatory School in Springfield, MA, where his courseload includes Pre-AP Algebra I, Geometry, and AP Statistics. He also teaches private saxophone lessons at JC Music in Meriden, CT. In his leisure time Brandon enjoys hiking and marathon training.
SANDI SMITH

Sandi is a native of Connecticut with a background in Biology and Special Education. She has taught a variety of subjects and students of all ages. She specializes in individualizing the learning process to meet the unique needs of her students. Sandi particularly enjoys doing Reading Intervention. When she is not teaching, Sandi is active as Vice President of the CT Guild of Puppetry.
